Ambassador Ilango Karuppannan had a meeting with H.E Ali Al Shami, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon on 30 November 2010 at the latter’s office. During the meeting, the Ambassador updated the Minister on the latest developments with regard to Malaysia-Lebanon bilateral relations. Ambassador informed the Minister that to date 54 Lebanese civil servants had been offered MTCP courses. Ambassador also expressed satisfaction at the study tour involving the senior Lebanese civil servants.
The Ambassador also took the opportunity to inquire of the Minister his reading of the general situation in the country, especially on latest political developments.
