Ambassador Ilango Karuppannan had a meeting with H.E Gebran Bassil, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Lebanon on 18 January 2011 at the latter’s office to follow up on a Malaysian company’s bid to participate in a power plant upgrading project in Lebanon. H.E Gebran Bassil responded favourably and assured his full cooperation in ensuring the success of the bid.
The Ambassador and the Minister also had an exchange of views on the current political developments in Lebanon.
