The Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon was honoured to receive a Shield of Appreciation from Al-Shifa Medical and Humanitarian Services Association, recognising the Embassy’s ongoing support for humanitarian and charitable initiatives in Lebanon.
The delegation, led by Dr Magdi Karim (Executive Director) and Mr Youssef Khalil (Public Relations Manager), met with Mr Johan Arief to express deep gratitude for the continued support of the Malaysian people, organisations, and charities in strengthening Lebanon’s health & relief sectors—particularly initiatives serving the Palestinian community.
The Association also presented an overview of its key activities, achievements & plans for 2025, before conferring the Shield in recognition of the Embassy’s commitment to humanitarian work.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming the importance of enhancing cooperation & partnership with Malaysian organisations to further advance health & humanitarian efforts in Lebanon.
