The Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon was delighted to be engaged by OTV Lebanon, one of the country’s leading television networks, to showcase Malaysia’s rich culture, diverse tourism opportunities, and the bilateral ties between Malaysia and Lebanon.
Ms Celine Khoury, a Television News Producer, together with her production team, welcomed Mr Johan Arief Jaafar, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Malaysia in Beirut, for the filming of a special segment highlighting Malaysia’s rich heritage and tourism appeal. The engagement also featured an interview conducted by Lebanese television host Ms Joelle Antoine Aziz, who spoke with Mr Johan on Malaysia’s key attractions and the growing people-to-people links between Malaysia and Lebanon.
The feature was broadcast on OTV, offering viewers an insight into Malaysia’s diverse cultural landscape and the expanding two-way tourism and cooperation between both nations. The programme served as a valuable platform to further strengthen cultural and diplomatic bridges between Malaysia and Lebanon.
