Malaysians residing in Lebanon celebrated Hari Raya in an event organised by the Embassy of Malaysia in Beirut on 21 September 2009 at the Embassy. Around 90 Malaysians from all races comprising professionals, students and peacekeepers thronged to the Embassy for that purpose. 'Friends of Malaysia', including members of MTCP Alumni (Lebanese Chapter) also did not miss the chance to taste Malaysian Raya cuisines and be part of the celebration.
The event was successful as it gave the opportunity for Malaysians to strengthen their camaraderie as well as to mingle with Lebanese friends.
