Mr Johan Arief, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon, received Mr Mohamad Islam Kahil, Head of Mission, Qatar Red Crescent in Lebanon, and Ms Amani Haidar, Programme Coordinator, QRCS in Lebanon, at the Embassy of Malaysia in Beirut.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on issues of mutual interest, with a particular focus on humanitarian assistance efforts aimed at supporting vulnerable communities across Lebanon. Discussions emphasised the importance of ongoing cooperation and coordination to provide timely and effective assistance to those most in need.
The Embassy of Malaysia reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with humanitarian partners to advance shared humanitarian objectives and alleviate the challenges faced by affected communities in Lebanon.
