Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon hosted a luncheon with alumni of the MTCP - Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme on 5 August 2025. The event brought together 26 participants from various Lebanese government agencies, educational institutions, and civil society organizations, including the presence of Colonel Johan Effendi Hj Mohd Shalleh of MALBATT 850-12.
Ambassador Dato’ Azri reaffirmed Malaysia’s continued commitment to technical collaboration and shared key MTCP achievements, including the recent capacity-building programme for Palestinian healthcare workers.
The highlight of the event was a sharing session by Mr. Mostafa Soukarieh of CRDP LIBAN, who attended a renewable energy training course in TNB Integrated Learning Solution - ILSAS Malaysia.
His testimony underscored the real-world impact of MTCP in supporting Lebanon’s sustainable development goals. The Embassy looks forward to expanding engagements with MTCP alumni and stakeholders in Lebanon to explore new areas of cooperation and beyond.
