Mr Johan Arief, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon, concurrently accredited to the Republic of Cyprus, had the opportunity to meet Dr Demetris Assos, Head of the Department of Asia and Oceania & Mr Elias Mavrokefalos from the Political Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cyprus.
Mr Varnavas Varnavides, Honorary Consul of Malaysia in Cyprus, accompanied Mr Johan Arief.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on issues of mutual interest and to explore avenues for continued cordial and constructive engagement between Malaysia and Cyprus.
