His Excellency Tan Sri Iyad Ameen Madani, Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will undertake a working visit to Malaysia on 8-10 January 2016. This will be his second visit to Malaysia after paying an official visit on 14-16 April 2015.
During his visit, His Excellency Tan Sri Iyad Ameen Madani is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on YAB Dato' Sri Najib Tun Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia. Both are expected to discuss the current challenges facing the Muslim Ummah and the recent developments in the region.
Malaysia as one of the founding members of the OIC, has continued to play an active role in the OIC in safeguarding the interest and well-being of Muslims worldwide.
