The ASEAN Committee in Rabat (ACR) held its 16th Meeting at the Residence of the Ambassador of Thailand in Rabat on 18 January 2017. Other than the usual meeting proceedings, the ceremony of the transfer of the Chairmanship from Malaysia to Thailand was also held. Malaysia chaired the ACR from August to December 2016 and organised the flag raising ceremony on 8 August 2016 during the Chairmanship.
