Ambassador of Malaysia, H.E. Chuah Teong Ban, made a courtesy call on the President of the Constitutional Tribunal of Peru, Manuel Miranda Canales, on Monday 14 August 2017.
President Miranda briefed Ambassador Chuah on the organizational structure and scope of activities of the Constitutional Tribunal of Peru and also a gist of the current cases being deliberated under the jurisdiction of the Tribunal.
Ambassador Chuah, in turn, briefed on the Malaysian Federal Constitution and highlighted some provisions of mutual interest.
In his concluding remarks, President Miranda expressed interest to forge close cooperation between Peru’s Constitutional Tribunal and its counterpart in Malaysia.
