| Strengthening ASEAN–Peru Engagement On 16 March 2026, Ambassador Ahmad Irham Ikmal Hisham participated in a meeting between the ASEAN Committee in Lima (ACL) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru. The engagement reaffirmed the growing partnership between ASEAN and Peru, particularly following Peru’s designation as an ASEAN Development Partner. Discussions focused on enhancing institutional coordination, expanding cooperation in trade, culture, and sustainable development, as well as advancing ASEAN outreach initiatives in Peru. The meeting reflects a shared commitment to advancing ASEAN–Peru and Malaysia–Peru relations in a dynamic and evolving Asia-Pacific landscape. |
