The Embassy of Malaysia in Peru participated in the Primera Gran Bicicleteada "Todos por Palestine"(First Great Bike Ride "All for Palestine") on 3 April 2016 in San Borja, Lima which coincided with the Embassy Family Day activity. This cycling event was organized by Embassy of Palestine in collaboration of Union Club of Arabia in Lima. About 500 cyclists including children participated in the 16 km cycling route to show support to the Palestinians. Malaysian Embassy’s families also joined in the cycling event and flown Jalur Gemilang on their bikes as a symbol of Malaysia's support to the Palestinian cause to be a fully sovereign state. Our participation symbolizes solidarity to the Palestinian cause in freeing people from the shackles of war.
The Family Day event of the Embassy was aimed at strengthening close camaraderie and to instill healthy lifestyle among staff members at the end of the event.
