The Embassy of Malaysia in Lima organised a study visit to Gano Itouch Peru, a Malaysian company based in Miraflores, Lima on 4 December 2018, in line with Foreign Ministry’s strategic thrust to engage with Malaysian company.
The Embassy had a fruitful discussion with Mr. Alvin Chong, Regional Director of Gano Itouch. A presentation to introduce the company’s background was made to the staff of the Embassy of Malaysia in Lima to help them to better know its product and the challenges faced by the company in the consumer food market of Peru. Indirectly, the visit enabled the Embassy to better promote Malaysia’s product in Peru.
An exchange of ideas on how to tackle the challenges faced by the company was done so that the Embassy can further understand what assistances to extent to the company.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Lima would continue its efforts in engaging Malaysian companies based in Peru throughout the year.
