| ASEAN is the long-standing cornerstone of Malaysia's foreign policy and Malaysia remains committed to its principles of regional integration and cooperation. On 9 October 2024, HE Ahmad Irham Ikmal Hisham, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Peru paid an Introductory Call on HE Pisanu Sobhon, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Peru. Among the agenda of discussion were Malaysia as 2025 ASEAN chair and Peru as ASEAN Development Partner. |
