The staff and family members of the Embassy of Malaysia in Lima came in full force to run for charity on Sunday, 28 February 2016 at Parque Heroes del Canepa. The 5km charity run, Sport Relief for Children was organized by local NGOs to raise money for the San Borja Children Hospital to support medical treatments of disadvantaged children. The Malaysian Embassy’s participation is part of the Embassy’s contribution towards the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Peru for the year 2016.
About 200 participants took part. The Malaysian team was led by Ambassador Chuah Teong Ban.
