The Ambassador of Malaysia, H.E. Chuah Teong Ban received a visit by Mr. Chia Kim Har, the Senior Vice President of Wah Seong Corporation Berhad and Mr. Chuah Chong Sheng, Senior Manager of Mackenzie Industries Sdn Bhd on 3 May 2018. The Malaysian businessmen who were participating in the palm oil exhibition in Lima, Peru were keen to know the oil palm plantation potential, its market data on palm oil production and its related industries. They had approached the Embassy to request for market information on palm oil and other industries. During the call, they also requested embassy’s cooperation to facilitate in issuance of visa for their Colombian clients.
In line with the Embassy’s strategic thrust to advocate Malaysia’s economic interest, the Embassy will continue its efforts in promoting Malaysia through engaging the business community in Peru.
