La Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega (UIGV) in Lima invited Ambassador Chuah Teong Ban to deliver a talk on the success story of Malaysia’s economic model on 21 September 2017. The audience comprised senior lecturers as well as business administration and law students.
In his lecture, Ambassador of Malaysia briefly introduced about Malaysia and the comparative similarities and differences between Malaysia and Peru. He further outlined the journey of Malaysia’s economic development adopted since independence and the various strategies taken with the changing of times to transform our economic models.
The questions fielded by the students of UIGV reflected how well-prepared the students were and also their enthusiasms to learn more about the various strategies adopted by Malaysia.
