| In conjunction with the chairmanship of the Republic of Peru in Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) this year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru initiating APEC Citizens 2024. In the spirit of APEC Citizens 2024, on 30 October 2024, the Embassy has organised a Special Program La Noche de Malasia (Malaysian Night) at the San Isidro Cultural Centre, Lima. The program, in collaboration with Studio Kembara, Syarikat DXN, Gano iTouch and San Isidro Municipalidad is held in conjunction with Malaysia's participation in APEC Economy Leaders' Week (AELW) 2024 which will be held in Lima from 8 to 16 November 2024. Various activities had been held for La Noche de Malasia such as cultural, heritage and tourism exhibitions; traditional games competition; cultural shows; Silat Gayong Malaysia martial arts demonstration; promotion of Malaysian products; and many more. For the climax of La Noche de Malaysia, the Embassy screened Mat Kilau: Kebangkitan Pahlawan. Besides that, to promote Malaysia traditional food to the local community, Perwakilan Lima has prepared various delicious Malaysian traditional kuih, namely Karipap, Kaswi, Seri Muka and Bom Bijan for all the invitees to try.
