On the 6th of July 2018, the Embassy of Malaysia in Lima, Peru participated the annual Global Village International Fair organized by AIESEC Peru held at the National University San Marcos. The aim of the fair is to bring together young people and embassies from different countries of the world to showcase their cultures. Other embassies such as the Embassy of Indonesia, the Embassy of Belgium, the Embassy of Poland and the Embassy of Morocco.
Through this fair, Malaysia was able to promote the harmonious unity among the multicultural facets of Malaysian society and the diverse cultural practices. Information of its geographical location, its vibrant economy and the warm hospitality of Malaysian multiethnic people were also displayed. In addition, two traditional Malaysian pastries such as Kuih Bakar Pandan and Kuih Bakar Berlauk were prepared to enable the visitors to savour the new gastronomy experience of Malaysian desserts.
