Consul General Mohammad Azhar Mazlan attended the launching Ceremony of the 3rd Davao Mega Travel Sale at the Ayala Abreeza Mall on 2 March 2012, respectively. The 3-day Mega Travel Sale was participated by the Tourism Malaysia-Manila office headed by the Director/Cultural Attaché, Masrina Mohd Bakri. The team displayed promotional ads of different tourist destinations of Malaysia, brochures, flyers, maps and promotional kits were given for free to the guests. This event has further enhanced the relationship of Tourism Malaysia-Manila with the participating travel industry partners.
The Mega Travel Sale has been successful in creating public awareness about Malaysia as well as promoting Malaysia as a tourist destination not only to the people of Mindanao but to the Philippines in general.
