BADMINTON FRIENDSHIP GAME, DAVAO CITY 7 - 8 JULY 2012

In celebration of the 67th Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, the Consulate General of Indonesia in Davao City organized a two-day badminton friendship game participated by the Consulate General of Malaysia, Consular Office of Japan, Department of Foreign Affairs Mindanao, Philippine Navy and the host Consulate General of Indonesia at the Badminton World, Davao City on 7 to 8 July 2012, respectively.

 

Playing in an exhilarating but exciting friendly game, every team fought hard and aimed for victory. After the game, winners were awarded with cash prizes. For men’s division, the Consulate General of Malaysia bagged the second runner-up, Consulate General of Indonesia as the first runner-up while the Department of Foreign Affairs Mindanao was hailed as Champion. On the other hand, for women’s division, the Consular Office of Japan bagged the second runner-up, Consulate General of Indonesia as the first runner-up and the Consulate General of Malaysia was hailed as Champion.

 

The game has been successful in bringing closer all the players for better networking and cooperation in the true spirit of camaraderie and solidarity.
