BIKE-FOR-PEACE 2011
 
          The 3Ps (persistence, patience and perseverance) was evident when about 500 bikers took part on 29 May 2011, in the 36km (mostly uphill) Bike-for-Peace cycling program from Cotabato City to Upi, Maguindanao organized by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) in show of solidarity and support for the peace process in Mindanao. The Consul General participated in the event and completed the course together with the Head of International Monitoring Team (IMT) as well as 5 IMT officials. Participants included members of OPAPP, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Local Government Units (LGUs), and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) as well as members of the media.
