On Thursday, 12th May, 2016, CG Abdullah attended the Mindanao Islamic Chamber and Commerce Inc. members meeting at Chancery Conference Room in Davao City.
The purpose of the meeting is the consolidate views and opinion of the MICCI members in preparing a Wish List for President Duterte. The Agenda of the meeting includes 2 parts whereby in the first part, Consul General Abdullah presented the latest update on the Malaysia-Philippines Bilateral Relations and Mindanao Issues. Later, continued by Engr. Samad S. Pangandaman who Chair the meeting of the MICCI.
The meeting agreed to draft a Wish List in which includes socio-economic development proposal for the Muslim communities in Davao Region and Mindanao. The Wish List will covers all aspects of socio-economic development agenda including livelihood, Ramadhan Baazar, Qurban, Hajj, Awqaf, Endowment Fund, Halal and Madrasah. The tabulated Wish List will be presented to President Duterte during the meeting with all Muslims leaders in Davao City scheduled to be held next week.

Pangandaman (MTCP Alumni-Halal), MICCI Founder Marilou Ampuan (MTCP Alumni-Halal), representative of Hon. Deputy Mayor Randy Usman, Hajjah Farida (major sponsor of Duterte’s campaign – P1million) and Al-Amana Bank Manager Ms. Grace.
