On 8th September, 2016, CG Abdullah met Davao City Mayor Chief of Staff Joel Nadela Jr. In attendance were Deputy Mayor of Maranao Tribe Hon. Randy Usman, Deputy Mayor of Maguindanao Tribe Hon. Esmail Nakan, and Universal Islamic Center President Mrs. Marilou W. Ampuan.
The meeting discussed on the Isla Verde public housing project proposed by Mercury Group of Malaysia.
