On Monday, 7th March, 2016, CG Abdullah met Muslim community in Tagum City.
The three groups that comprise the people of Tagum: the Indigenous Peoples (the Lumads), the Muslim and the Pioneer Migrant Settlers who were originally from the northern islands of Luzon, Cebu, Bohol, Iloilo and Leyte.
The Tagum Muslim tribes include Iranon, Kalagan, Maranao, Magindanao and Tausug.
Tagum City Mayor Allan L. Rellon, known as Datu Makagaos among the 40,000 Muslims in Davao del Norte.
