On 7th August, 2016, CG Abdullah visited Tamparan Medical Foundation Incorporated (TMFI) Hospital in Tamparan Lanao Del Sur. TMFI is a non-government and non-profit organization, augmenting health care services to the existing government hospital (Public-Private Synergy Services).
The newly constructed Two Storey Hospital Building which has a total lot area of 31,280 sq.m. and total floor area of 3,590 sq.m. was funded by the ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK (IDB) based in Jeddah. The facility was designed to be the "Lanao Center for Health and Wellness" for the needy and be the nidus for other related concerns like water sanitation; women empowerment; education capability; scholarship; and HANDICAPPED; Geriatric patients ( physical & spiritual health).
The center hopes to fully become a 100-bed capacity tertiary training hospital in the next 5years, and ultimately the edifice of environmental sustainability & finance that will hasten the process of alleviating the people from poverty and hunger.
TMFI looks for the supports from Global communities, public-private partnership and people's participation everything is possible.
