CONSULATE GENERAL OF MALAYSIA IN DAVAO CITY HOSTED PMRM ON 1st MAY 2014

The Consulate General of Malaysia’s Home Based Staff (HBS) and their family together with the Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) and Malaysian Citizens and Students studying in Davao City, participated the PMRM hosted by the Consulate General on Thursday, 1 May 2014 at Banana Beach Resort located in Madaum, Tagum City.
 
The program begins in the morning, whereby the participants had a breakfast and visited the Banana Beach reserved forest to try the resort’s hanging bridge. The area was very conducive for relaxation and get together session between Malaysian Citizens.
 
After the forest visit, PERWAKILAN Ladies served Malaysian foods for lunch. The participants enjoyed in spending their afternoon with the beach view and several resort activities such as horseback riding, mountain bike, fishing, and swimming.
 
This PMRM program aimed to promote camaraderie among the Consulate Community and Malaysian Citizens living in Mindanao. During the event, Malaysian citizens and students were able to share their concerns, problems and experiences to the Consulate Officials. The Malaysians were updated with the latest development in Malaysia and also advised to observe, take safety precautions and be vigilant due to unstable peace and order in other regions of Mindanao.
