On 18 August 2025, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Davao City welcomed Atty. Rachel P. Zozobrado, City Councilor of the 3rd District of the Davao City and Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations, for a courtesy call. The meeting served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties and discuss potential areas of collaboration between the Consulate and the City of Davao, particulary in fostering closer bilateral relations, cultural exchanges and mutual cooperation. The Consulate General looks forward to further engagements that will enhance the friendship and partnership between Malaysia and the local community of Davao.
