On 24 January 2025, Consul General of Malaysia in Davao, Mr. Deddy Faisal Ahmad Salleh received a courtesy call from International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM); University of Immaculate Conception (UIC), Davao City and Chang Gung University of Science and Technology (CGUST), Taiwan. The courtesy call was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lee Siew Pien from IIUM.
