DAVAO CITY – 20 March 2021: As part of our MWinteract series, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Davao City distributed relief goods consisting of rice packs, dried noodles and canned foods to the families affected by fire in Barangay Governor Vicente Duterte, Agdao District.
The Barangay Chairwoman Madam Remedios A. Dela Luz received the aid and expressed gratitude for the contribution which would assist the affected families cope with the loss of property and the disruption on their lives, since the fire that hit Davao City coastal area on 9 March 2021.
According to Davao City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), more than 500 families are currently sheltered at the Barangay office and two nearby evacuation centers.
