On Monday, 9th July, 2018; Mr. Abdul Rahman Adun arrived in Davao City International Airport. He was greeted and welcomed by the outgoing Consul Saifulnizam Wahid and Personal Assistant to the Consul General, Mr. Ahmad Sharizal bin Abdull Seliban.
On Tuesday, 10th July, 2018; the newly arrived Vice Consul Abdul Rahman Adun toured around Malawakil Davao City office and met with all 5 Locally Recruited Staff and also briefed on the daily routine tasks in the office by Chief Clerk Ms. Anne Ave Diaz. On the evening, HBS headed by Konsul (P) Mohd Jafri Mohd Sharif brought the outgoing Consul Saifulnizam Wahid to World Palace Business Center for a farewell party that were also attended by Mr. C. K. Chang and his spouse.
On Wednesday, 11th July, 2018; Consul (P) Mohd Jafri Mohd Sharif chaired the 2nd HBS/SKPM Meeting at the Malawakil’s Meeting Room. At the same meeting, an official ceremony for turn over notes (Note Serah Tugas) were also witnessed by the members of the meeting. On the afternoon, all HBS went to Vice Consul’s residence for house inspection conducted by the house agent as well as the owner of the residence, Mr. Johnna B. Taylor. The house key then was transferred officially to Vice Consul Abdul Rahman Adun.
On the same day, Consul (P) Mohd Jafri Mohd Sharif held a farewell party to the outgoing Consul Saifulnizam Wahid and the welcoming party for Vice Consul Abdul Rahman Adun. The party were also attended by Mr. C. K. Chang, all Malawakil LRS and 4 Malaysian students currently studying in Davao Medical School Foundation. Consul (P) presented Mr. Saifulnizam the parting token of appreciation during the event.
On Thursday, 12th July, 2018; Mr Saifulnizam Wahid departed back to Malaysia via AirAsia direct Flight to Kuala Lumpur at 4:20 PM.
