FAREWELL AND WELCOME LUNCHEON HOSTED

On May the 2nd, Consul General Mohammad Azhar Mazlan hosted a luncheon at his Official Residence to bid farewell to the Personal Assistant of Consul, Mr. Asuandi Aswad Abd. Latiff and family who are going back to Malaysia and at the same time to welcome the new Personal Assistant, Mr. Mohd Natasya bin Johari. Among the invitees were officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs Philippines, Davao City, private sector as well as staff members of the Consulate General.
2.       As a formality, the Consul General awarded a plaque of recognition to Mr. Asuandi in recognition of his services to the Consulate General from July 2007 to April 2011. In his remarks, the Consul General wished the latter all the best in his new assignment as well as `Bon Voyage!’ The Consul General then welcomed Mr. Mohd Natasya to Davao City. Thereafter, the guests were invited to partake in the Malaysian dishes prepared by PERWAKILAN ladies such as grilled fish, goat curry, jack fruit curry, dried fish, fresh vegetable salad, seasonal fruits and wafer vanilla cake as desserts.
3.       Through such gathering, it has strengthened the esprit de corps not only amongst the staff members of the Consulate General but also friendship with the DFA Philippines, Davao City.
