On 30 October 2024, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia graciously conferred the honorary First Class Honorary Title of Gallant Commander of the Police Force (P.G.P.P.) to the Chief of the Philippine National Police, Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil at the Balairung Seri, Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur.
