On Saturday, 8th October, 2014, Ikebana International Davao Chapter 133 held its installation of officers at Seda Abreeza Hotel, where the members and officers of the organization seemed to come into full bloom along with the floral arrangements displayed for the meeting. Malaysia was represented by Mrs. Badiah Hanum and Consul General Abdullah.
The Japanese art of flower arrangement has become a bridge for international friendship with other foreign countries nationals in Davao City such as Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Colombia, Japan, Indonesia, and Malaysia
