The purpose of the meeting is to discuss on the preparation for AVLDA Officials to travel to Selangor for Langat River Basin study visit. The proposed itinerary includes meeting with Department of Irrigation and Development (DID), University of Kebangsaan Malaysia, Institute for Environment and Development officials. Study of an application of GPS and GIS in Forested Watershed at Bukit Tarek Experimental Watershed (BTEW) in Selangor. The use of differential Global Positioning System (dGPS) for capturing of spatial data and integrated with Geographic Information System (GIS) for soil loss calculation using Modified Soil Loss Equation (MSLE). While in Kuala Lumpur, the delegation wishes to meet with Malaysia business chambers for possible investment matching.
