On 13 January 2025, Consu General of Malaysia in Davao, Mr. Deddy Faisal Ahmad Salleh chaired a hybrid meeting on the 10th Philippine Halal Trade and Tourism Expo (PHTTE). The meeting was held at the Chancery Office and was attended by Ms. Marilou Ampuan, President of the Universal Islamic Center (UIC); Ms. Nouf Heindth Berago, Executive Assistant of the UIC and Mr. Tahir Ayunan Malikol.
