On 11 December 2024, Consul General of Malaysia in Davao, Mr. Deddy Faisal Ahmad Salleh attended the Mindanao Blue Economy Forum 2024 at Acacia Hotel, Davao City. The forum is organised in partnership with OceanPixel and the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners Inc. (PIEP).
With the theme "Advancing Together for Mindanao's Blue Economy Future", the forum aims to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with harnessing the potential of marine and coastal ecosystems for sustainable economic development in Mindanao.
