On 25 April 2023, CG Deddy Faisal received a courtesy call from the students of the Liceo de Cagayan University of Cagayan de Oro led by their lecturer, Mr. Lucanus Azrael Igot.
The students are in their first-year program of Consular and Diplomatic Practices for the International Studies Program.

We discussed the way forward regarding the BIMP-EAGA connectivity plan as well as ASEAN Community. CG Deddy reiterated that Malaysia's commitment to ASEAN reflects its dedication to fostering regional cooperation and stability.
