As part of the Consulate General’s community outreach program, on 19 August 2010 the Consul General visited eight (8) mosques around Davao City where he donated sacks of rice to each mosque meant for the needy. He met with all the imams and conveyed Ramadan greetings. The Consul General was accompanied by Consul Kamal Norfarid. This initiative has enabled the Consul General to add the element of ‘visibility’ of the Consulate General of Malaysia amongst the Muslim community in Davao City.
