On 11 August 2025, the Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Deddy Faisal Ahmad Salleh joined the colourful opening of Kadayawan Festival 2025 at Magsaysay Park, graced by Vice President Sara Duterte and other Consuls General in Davao City. They visited the 11 tribal houses of Mindanao, experiencing traditional dances, local delicacies and the rich heritage that unites diverse cultures.
