The 5th Davao Mega Travel Sale: Explore, Encounter, Experience was held on 7 to 9 March, 2014 at the Abreeza Mall, Davao City.The main objective of the event was to inform and make aware to the general public of the options they have for travel for the whole year.
A total of 36 exhibitors and participants includes airline companies such as Cathay Pacific, Silk Air, Cebu Pacific, Delta, hotels such as Seda, Waterfront Insular, Pearl Farms, travel agencies, travel insurance companies, cruise lines, tour operators, Sabah Tourism Board from Kota Kinabalu and Tourism Malaysia from Manila.
The 5th Davao Mega Travel Sale was well attended by the general public and basically all the programs and parts of the event were successful. Participants and exhibitors appeared to have been satisfied with the turn out of the event in terms of queries and sales on tickets and rooms. There were promo rates to different destinations and routes which are aimed to encourage travel within the Philippines and neighbour countries.
