At Stanfilco Dole wharf in Panabo City
A delegation from Malaysia Embassy in Manila headed by the new Trade Counsellor, Ms Vimala Murugan, was in Davao City for a familiarization trip from 1-3 December 2008. She was accompanied by Mt Mohd Adli Abdullah (Head of Chancery) and Ms Intan Zurina Dollah (Second Secretary).

During the visit, the delegation met and held discussions with Mr Ednar Carlos G. Dayanghirang, the Executive Director of Mindanao Business Council, Ms Marizon S.Loreto, the Regional Director of the Department of Trade and Industry in DavaoCity and Mr Carlito H.Ona, General Manager of Stanfilco Dole Philippines.
The delegation also visited Stanfilco Banana Plantation in Panabo City.
