On Thursday, 26th June, 2014, Consul General Abdullah participated in the World Food Expo (WOFEX) 2014 & Mindanao’s 9th Food Processing and Packaging Technology Expo Opening Ceremony organized by Premier Events Plus Group at the SMX Convention Center of SM Lanang Premier, Davao City from 25-28 June, 2014. Amongst the exhibitors from Malaysia includes Intisari Mulia International (IMI) Inc., Solutionpack Machinery (M) Sdn. Bhd., Sabah Flour & Feed Mills Sdn. Bhd. and Hanyaw Sdn. Bhd.
Consul General Abdullah met the Malaysian exhibitors briefed them about the potential market outlook in Mindanao and the upcoming event particularly on BIMP-EAGA & IMT-GT Trade Fair and Business Leaders’ Conference at SMX Convention Center from 23-26 October, 2014 and Sabah International Expo (SIE2014) at Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah from 18-21 September, 2014.
Over 100 exhibitors participated in the exhibition and approximately more than 3000 visitors visited the exhibition booths, workshops and demonstrations during the four days events.
