The Malaysian Medical Relief Society (Mercy Malaysia) deploys four members of their organization to Compostela Valley Province.
The area was devastated by the Typhoon Bopha last December 2012. The delegates aimed to help those in need of medical attention as per their organization’s goal.
The delegates were there for two weeks of volunteer work in the affected areas. The delegates stayed in Tagum City, the nearest city from Compostela Valley for their convenience. The Consul General visited the team on 20 January 2013 to support their mission and monitor their needs.
