The 38th ASEAN Committee in Stockholm (ACS) meeting was successfully held on 9 May 2025 at the residence of the Vietnam Ambassador in Stockholm.
The meeting served as a platform for ASEAN Heads of Mission to review recent engagements, including insightful discussions with the Director General for Trade Policy of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Vice President for Asia Pacific at Business Sweden. These dialogues reinforced the shared commitment to enhancing trade and economic cooperation.
Members also reflected on the exchange with the Swedish Minister for Defence and the visit to the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), both of which further deepened ASEAN-Sweden collaboration in the fields of security, defence, and education.
Concurrently, the ACS Committee also warmly welcomed His Excellency Patrick Chuasoto, Ambassador of Philippines to Sweden, and extended best wishes for a successful and fulfilling tour of duty.
