Uncut-09 Malaysian Arts Festival, Denmark

On 7 August 2009, HE Dato’ Kamarudin Mustafa, Ambassador of Malaysia to Denmark officiated the Uncut-09 Malaysian Arts Festival in Gallery Shambala, Copenhagen, Denmark. The Festival was organized by Jambatan, a newly formed group with the main goal of building bridges between different cultures and artforms. The Festival is supported by Tourism Malaysia, Gallery Shambala, World Culture Center and Museum of Contemporary Art Roskilde. The festival is held for the first time in the Scandinavia region from 5-15 August 2009 which consists of art exhibition, films screening, dance and music performances, poetry reading and workshops. About 100 people attended the opening.
