28 July 2021 – Chargé d' Affaires of Malaysia, Ms Nur Hidayah Mohd with other members of the Diplomatic Corps, Timorese government officials and Timor-Leste Development Partners participated in the Development Partners Meeting on Regional Economic Integration at the Ministry of Finance. The meeting was led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Cooperation (MOFAC) and the Ministry of Tourism, Commerce and Industry (MTCI) and supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The meeting provided the development partners with a greater understanding of the works that have been accomplished to date and the gap analysis that Timor-Leste requires in achieving its national priority towards ASEAN integration. Malaysia remains committed to providing training and capacity building through MTCP to support Timor-Leste for its future discourse.
