8 March 2024 – The Embassy of Malaysia in Dili participated in a bazaar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, to mark the International Women’s Day. Themed "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress", the event which was graced by H.E. President Jose Ramos-Horta provided an opportunity for the Diplomatic Corp to showcase food, arts, and crafts of individual countries. The Embassy's Ladies' Association prepared and sold Malaysian gastronomic delights - Nasi Lemak, Teh Tarik, Karipap, Kaswi and Cucur Badak, while the Embassy's staff performed Dikir Barat (traditional choral singing).
