The Embassy of Malaysia in Dili hosted the eve of Hari Malaysia on 15 September 2015. The event was attended by Malaysians and local friends as well as visitors from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) who held official visit to Dili. The guests were served with various food Malaysian delicacies such as nasi lemak, mee goreng, bihun goreng, satay and Malaysian kuih. Beside these delicacies, guests were also served with barbeque chicken, beef and lambs. More than 100 guests attended function. In his short remarks, Ambassador Tajul conveyed his appreciation for Malaysians gathered at the function reflecting the multiracial and muticulcutured society. During the function, Malaysia’s national anthem was played sang along with all guests.
